Now in UP, those whose connections have been cut due to outstanding electricity bills will also get bills every month

Mr journalist, Uttar Pradesh News: In UP too, a bill will be raised every month for temporarily disconnected connection due to electricity dues. Consumers will get fixed charge bill through meter reader mobile app. Power Corporation has given orders to the MD of every discom. 

Every day, the electricity department disconnects temporary connections from electric poles. During this period, the meter remains installed on the premises, but the meter reader cannot detect such consumers. This month, Power Corporation has solved the problem by making changes in the billing software.

Now such consumers will get the monthly fixed charge bill from the meter reader. If there is a temporary connection break in the area, but there is no feed in the system, a provisional bill will be generated for the consumers. If the connection in the premises has deteriorated, but the meter has deteriorated then IDF bill will be generated. 

The bill will include the name, mobile number and serial number of the meter reader. The name of the meter manufacturer fed by the meter reader will also have to be entered in the billing app. The Superintending Engineer (IT) of UPPCL has ordered the latest system. This system has been implemented since March.
