Mr Journalist News, Digital Desk- New Delhi: While the worries of the farmers have increased due to changing weather patterns in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan, the common people have got relief due to the coolness in the weather. The hailstorm accompanied by torrential rain in Dhariyavad of the district has increased the concern of the farmers.

The weather pattern in the district seemed to have changed since this afternoon. Dark clouds appeared in the sky with strong winds. The weather became pleasant due to drizzling rain at many places and the common people got relief from the heat.

Here in Dhariyavad of the district, rain suddenly started with strong winds late in the evening. Along with this, hailstones the size of gram also started raining from the sky. The rain and hailstorm that lasted for about 20 minutes left a white sheet of hail on the road.

Drivers also had to face a lot of trouble due to hailstorm and rain. Here, due to hailstorm, the concern of farmers regarding the crops lying in the fields has increased.

Light rain was recorded in Jaipur, Churu, Alwar and Karauli districts of Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, compared to the last 24 hours, a drop of one to three degrees Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature in Ajmer, Kota, Jaipur and Udaipur divisions. Whereas in Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions, an increase of one to two degrees Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature.

The spokesperson of the department has expressed the possibility of thunderstorms, winds at the speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour and light rain at some places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur divisions on Thursday afternoon. He said that thunderstorm activities are likely to occur at isolated places on April 12 also.

Possibility of heavy rain in 12 districts on Saturday

The spokesperson of the department further said that due to the influence of an active western disturbance on Saturday, there are strong possibilities of formation of a system over western Rajasthan and surrounding areas.

On Saturday and Sunday, there is a possibility of thunder in some parts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur divisions and at some places strong thunderstorm i.e. winds blowing at a speed of 50-60 kilometers per hour. During this period, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and hailstorm at some places.

Orange alert issued for 12 districts

Orange alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for 12 districts. Of these districts, except Dungarpur and Banswara, yellow alert has been issued for the remaining 17 districts.

The names of Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner, Sikar, Nagaur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Alwar Bharatpur and Jalore are included. Apart from this, yellow alert was issued by the Meteorological Department for Jaipur, Dausa, Dholpur, Karauli, Ajmer, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Baran, Kota, Bhilwara, Jhalawar, Pali, Sirohi, Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh districts.
