3 bullet train stations will be built in these districts of Bihar, the route of the elevated track has been finalized

Bihar News: People of Bihar are going to get a great news. Under this, people of Bihar will be able to travel in bullet train very soon. This is because after the Ahmedabad Mumbai route, now it has been decided to run bullet train between Delhi Howrah. 

Preparations for this are going on in full swing. Stations are to be built in Buxar, Patna and Gaya of Bihar for this bullet train. The speed of this bullet train will be 350 kilometers per hour, but currently it takes 17 hours for this journey. Due to which one can reach New Delhi from Patna in just 3 hours through train.

The route of the elevated track to be built for the bullet train in Bihar has also been decided. The work of land acquisition for the construction of the elevated track and station will be started very soon. Members of the National High Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited will reach Patna by the last week of August. In which the construction of the station at either Phulwari or Bihta in Patna will be considered.

Bullet train will stop in these districts of Bihar

To stop this bullet train, stoppages will be made in three districts of Bihar, Buxar, Patna and Gaya. A station is to be built at all places. Due to which this bullet train will reach Howrah from Delhi via Varanasi via Buxar via Patna and Gaya. 

Elevated track is to be constructed for this train. Apart from this, if we talk about the work during the Delhi Howrah Bullet Train Project, then in August 2021, Indian Railways gave work to an agency to complete this 1660 km long route.

The work will be completed in two phases

According to the information, the work of Delhi-Howrah rail project will be completed in two phases. For which in the first phase, 813 km railway track is to be built from Delhi to Varanasi via Lucknow. Ayodhya will also be connected with this route. 

Apart from this, in the second phase, work will be done on Varanasi to Howrah via Patna route. The estimated cost of completing this project is Rs 5 billion. For this, stations are proposed in Varanasi, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Nawada, Dhanbad, Asansol, Durgapur, Vardhman and Howrah.

It is worth noting that the country's first bullet train is being built between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The total length of this corridor is 508 kilometers and under this, a tunnel is also being built under the sea for the first time in the country. A target has been set to conduct a trial of the train between Bilmora and Surat by 2026.
