Ban Medicine: Ban on these 32 Ayurvedic medicines including liv 52, investigation revealed fake

Mr journalist news (UP News): Regional Ayurvedic and Unani officials in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have been instructed to stop selling these medicines. 

The department is continuously raiding this. Among the medicines found against the standard, adulteration of steroid Iboprofen called Prednisolone and Betamethasone, diabetes drug called Diclofenac, sexual arousal drug called Cilidinafil and painkiller Glimepiride have been found. The disease of adulteration in Ayurvedic medicines has also started occurring in Varanasi. In government investigation, ten Ayurveda medicines were found to be fake. Also, adulteration of allopathic medicines has been found in 22 cases.

The sale of these 32 medicines has been banned. These also include Liv-52, a popular liver treatment. The mixture of Mandoor Bhasma and Daruharidra was not as per the standards.

Medicines found against standard include adulteration: steroids called prednisolone and betamethasone; pain relievers called ibuprofen and diclofenac; a diabetes medicine called glimepiride; and a sexual stimulation drug called cillinidafil.

Samples were taken from Sitapur, Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Muzaffar Nagar, Meerut, Lucknow, Varanasi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Kanpur.

These medicines were found fake

Medicines Jwala Dadh, Rumo Pravahi, Sundari Kalp Syrup, Trayodshang Guggulu, Vedantak Vati, AciNutra Liquid, Amla Churna, Supersonic Capsule, Bosta 400 Tablet, Bayana Plus Capsule have been found to be fake.

Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. Saroj Shankar Ram said that an order has been given to ban thirty two medicines. Ten of these drugs have been found to be fake. These are not produced in the district. In such a situation, sale and transportation will not be allowed.
