Uttar Pradesh News: Fourth international cricket stadium will be built in Uttar Pradesh. On March 10, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla will inaugurate the stadium to be built in Ghaziabad. Currently, Uttar Pradesh has Green Park in Kanpur and Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. 

A stadium is being built in Varanasi. Ekana Stadium is built under PPP model, but Green Park is under the state government. The land for the stadium to be built in Varanasi has been given by the state government, but the first stadium to be built in the capital of Ghaziabad is also being built on UPCA land.

CM YOGI and Amit Shah had performed Bhoomi Pujan

In 2019, it was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Lucknow. Rajeev Shukla will lay the foundation stone, Ghaziabad Cricket Association Chairman Rakesh Mishra told in a press conference on Friday. 

Union Minister of State Dr. VK Singh will be present. The construction of the stadium will be completed in two years. Ghaziabad will get a stadium worth Rs 450 crore in 2026. 55 thousand people will be able to sit in the stadium.
