Good news for the people of Bihar, railway line will be laid between DDU and Jhajha, Railway Minister gave update
Bihar News: Bihar has received the gift of many projects during the budget. Under which Rs 10 thousand 33 crores have been allocated for the works of rail infrastructure, safety and passenger facilities in Bihar. Under this, the third and fourth lines will be constructed between DDU to Jhajha at a cost of Rs 16000 crores.
Which is considered to be the biggest project in the history of Bihar Railways. This information was given by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav through video conferencing.
The Railway Minister said that an amount of Rs 10033 crore has been allocated in the session of General Budget 2024-25 for rail projects in Bihar, compared to which 9 times more amount has been allocated than the previous government.
Ashwini Vaishnav said that 55 railway projects worth Rs 79356 crore are being run in Bihar so far. Apart from this, funds have been allocated to redevelop 92 Amrit Bharat railway stations in Bihar.
On the other hand, Danapur DRM Jayant Kumar Chaudhary said during a press conference that the final survey of the third and fourth line from DDU to Jhajha has been completed. The work on which will be started at the ground level very soon.
A new railway line will be built between Bhabua and Dildarnagar
Similarly, a new railway line is to be constructed between Bhabua and Dildarnagar at a cost of Rs 800 crore. After this, the final survey of this 35 km long project has been completed, in which two RORs i.e. bridges will be built over the railway line, on which the train will run.
Apart from this, the DRM also informed that the work of electrification has been completed in the state. For which the central government has released a large amount for the railway projects of North Bihar during the general budget. But, no details have been released about it yet.
Energy corridor will be built at this cost
Apart from this, doubling work will be completed between Bakhtiyarpur and Tiliya in Bihar at a cost of Rs 2400 crore. The report of completion of this work has been submitted to the Railway Board. It has been planned to prepare this project as an energy corridor.
