There will be no land buying and selling in this district of UP, ban imposed in 10 villages
Mr Journalist, UP News: Uttar Pradesh is the largest state of India. UP is famous for its civilization, cultural diversity and historical importance. There are many tourist places in the state. People also come from abroad to visit here.
A report has revealed that there has been a huge increase in tourism in Kashi and the city is expanding rapidly due to basic facilities. To ensure that the expansion work is done in a systematic manner, six housing schemes were started last year at the government level. Now the seventh housing scheme has also been included in this.
10 villages have been included in this scheme proposed in the name of GT Road Housing Scheme. District Magistrate S Rajalingam has banned the purchase and sale of land in these villages. The new plan covers gram sabhas on the left side of the road between Mohansarai to Dafi Highway.
Land will not be purchased in these 10 villages
Villages Hansapur, Meerapur, Sagahat, Misirpur, Nibiya, Nakain, Sadalpur, Kadipur, Rampur and Faridpur of the district have been included in this GT Road Housing Scheme. Under the scheme, there will be no buying and selling of lands of marked Aaraji numbers and areas of villages.
For other lands, sellers will have to take permission from the district administration. Like six other housing schemes, the administration will purchase the land on the basis of consent by giving notice to the farmers related to the identified land.
There was huge loss of revenue
It is noteworthy that out of the six earlier schemes of Housing Development Council, the ban on purchase and sale of land in Varuna Vihar Phase 1 and 2 has been postponed.
The reason for this is that flood etc. in Varuna Vihar was not determined. For this reason, Bandha etc. would have to be made in future. The stoppage due to unpreparedness was causing huge loss of revenue. Now this ban remains only on the earlier five schemes.
