Due to which Shahid Afridi also broke his silence on India's victory regarding the condition of the pitch, in which his tone seemed to have changed. 

Afridi's praise became a taunt

Shahid Afridi's praise turned into sarcasm. On Team India's victory, he said, 'Their domestic cricket is excellent. They made the best selection for this tournament. 

I know that India's venue did not change, so they already knew the conditions of Dubai and the role of spinners and bowlers on the pitch. They got the advantage of the pitch, this is a big reason for their victory. However, they selected a great team according to the pitch.'

India should also defeat the world team

Afridi further said, 'I would say that even if the world team is made in the Champions Trophy and they pit it against India in Dubai, Team India would still have won.' 

The issue of pitch was raised a lot during the Champions Trophy. South African opener Rassie van der Dussen also raised the issue of Team India's advantage. However, the African team was eliminated by New Zealand in the semi-finals itself.
