126 km new railway line will be laid in Haryana, land acquisition has started here

Mr Journalist News, Haryana News : In Haryana, work has started to connect Nuh, Sohna, Manesar, Kharkhoda with the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway as well as the 126 km long Palwal-Sonipat railway line project at a cost of Rs 5700 crore. 

For this, 441.47 hectares of land has been acquired, for which the work of distributing compensation of Rs 1419.24 crore is being done. Out of this, compensation amount of Rs 1167.92 crore has been distributed, while the remaining compensation amount of Rs 251.32 crore will also be distributed as soon as possible. Work of acquiring the remaining land for the project is also in progress.

This information was given by the Chief Secretary of the state Sanjeev Kaushal. He was chairing a meeting with officials on Wednesday regarding the current status of land acquisition for the HORC project. Deputy Commissioners of Jhajjar, Sonipat, Nuh, Palwal and Gurugram joined the meeting through VC. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary said that the Haryana Orbit Rail Corridor Project is an excellent project for the state. 

He directed that the officers should complete the work of distributing compensation for the acquired land in Palwal, Gurugram, Jhajjar, Nuh and Sonipat as soon as possible. 

Apart from this, the work of distributing structure compensation in sub-divisions Palwal, Sohna, Gurugram, Pataudi, Nuh and Tawadu should also be completed as soon as possible. Additional Chief Secretary of Finance Department Anurag Rastogi and HRIDC officials were also present in the meeting.
