Whereas, in Haryana, on the occasion of Haryana Veer Shahidi Diwas 2024, banks along with schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed.
Who is Maharaja Hari Singh Ji?
Let us tell you that Maharaja Hari Singh Ji was born on 23 September 1895 in Jammu and died on 26 April 1961 in Mumbai. Hari Singh's father's name was Amar Singh and mother's name was Bhotiyali Chib.
Hari Singh inherited the throne of Jammu and Kashmir from former Maharaja Pratap Singh. He is called the last ruling Maharaja of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. His birthday is on 23 September, due to which the banks here are closed.
Why will banks remain closed on 28th and 29th September?
Actually, all the banks across the country will remain closed on 28th September due to the fourth Saturday of September. Since the next day is Sunday, there will be a weekly holiday for all the banks across the country on 29th September. After this, the banks will be closed directly in the month of October.
