Haridwar Dehradun Bus: The festival of Bhole Nath, which comes in the month of Sawan in India, is celebrated with great pomp. Sawan month is considered to be the month of Bholenath's marriage. Before Shivratri, lakhs of people bring Kaavad from Haridwar.

Due to Kaavadias, there is a jam like situation on the roads. Keeping in mind the closed roads, Haryana Roadways has suspended the Dehradun and Haridwar bus service for a few days. The service will be resumed after the completion of Kaavad Yatra. A bus leaves for Haridwar every evening from Ballabhgarh Bus Stand.

People created a ruckus due to non-availability of bus for Haridwar

A large number of people carrying Kavad from Haridwar have arrived at the bus stand. All the passengers started making noise as there was no bus for Haridwar at the bus stand. The roadways employees informed the bus stand police post to avoid any kind of trouble.

The police closed the place keeping in mind the movement of Kanwariyas

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot under the leadership of Chowki Incharge Open Inspector Neeraj Kumar. On the arrival of the police, the roadways officials said that the road to Haridwar has been closed by the police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, keeping in mind the movement of cowries.

Officials said that in view of this, the bus cannot be sent to Haridwar. The police talked to the roadways employees about sending the Kawadis to Delhi.

The officials of the roadways department agreed to send the bus to Delhi. And the passengers were seated in the bus and sent to Delhi to bring the Kawad.

Haryana Roadways Faridabad General Manager Lekhraj said that the police have closed all the roads going to Dehradun and Haridwar.

The bus remains stuck in the jam for 4 hours, causing a lot of trouble to the passengers. In view of this, the Haridwar Dehradun bus service has been temporarily stopped. It will be started again smoothly as soon as the Kavad Yatra ends.
