These two siblings come from the southern state of India. Sridhar and Radha Vembu studied from IIT Madras and started their own business after getting a job. 

These siblings waved the flag of their success everywhere in studies, job and business. Today the name of Sridhar and Radha Vembu is included in the list of rich people of the country.

Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu started his career as an ordinary employee. Now he is the owner of a firm worth Rs 48,900 crore. Like brother Sridhar, Radha Vembu's story was also similar. Radha Vembu is ranked 40th in the list of India's richest people.

came from a middle class family

Sridhar and Radha Vembu, who belong to Tamil Nadu, grew up in a middle-class family. After earning an electrical engineering degree from IIT Madras in 1989, Sridhar Vembu went to the US for a PhD. But, after a few years he returned to India and founded Zoho in 1996. 

On the other hand, Radha Vembu also joined Zoho in 1997 after completing her industrial management studies from IIT Madras. According to an ET report, Zoho's market capitalization is Rs 48,900 crore. Zoho, a company led by Sridhar Vembu, crossed the $1 billion mark in sales in the financial year ended March 31, 2023, while the company's operating profit stood at Rs 8,703.6 crore.

Billionaire but simple-minded brother and sister

Sridhar and Radha Vembu are down to earth despite being billionaires. This can be gauged from the fact that Sridhar likes to travel by bicycle while Radha Vembu is seen only in saree. 

Recently, Sridhar Vembu shared a picture on social media and told that he has bought an electric auto. People could not digest this because billionaire businessmen buy expensive cars, cruise boats and chartered planes. But, Sridhar Vembu is buying an auto and sharing it on social media.

How much wealth do the siblings have

Actually, Sridhar Vembu has a special love for villages, that is why he did not choose a metropolis to start his business but opened the company's office in Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu. Its purpose was that talented people from rural areas should work for India's important export IT service.

According to Forbes, Sridhar Vembu is the 55th richest person in India with a net worth of $3.75 billion (31,000 crores). At the same time, according to 360 One Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2023, Radha Vembu became the richest self-made Indian woman in the country. She is ranked 40th in the list of richest people in India. According to Forbes, Radha Vembu's net worth is more than $3.3 billion i.e. 27,000 crores.
