UP Weather: Amidst the scorching heat across the country, the Meteorological Department has given good news on Friday. It is going to rain in the coming days in many states including UP and Bihar. This will definitely provide some relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department has said that heatwave conditions will prevail in eastern India till May 5.

At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Northeast India on May 5 and 6. Apart from this, there is also an alert for thunderstorms. There may be rain in the area of ​​eastern Uttar Pradesh between May 6 and 9.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were observed in Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu etc. The highest temperature of 46.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nandyal area of ​​Rayalaseema. At the same time, heavy rains occurred in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura yesterday.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura will receive light to moderate rain during the next five days. Apart from this, if we talk about the states of North West India, then warnings of rain, thunderstorms and lightning have been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh between May 3 and 5.

Talking about the plains of North India, light rain will occur in western Rajasthan on May 3, Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab on May 4. Apart from this, strong winds may blow in Uttar Pradesh, southern Rajasthan and Haryana and Delhi on May 3 and 4.

At the same time, light to moderate rain is going to occur in eastern Uttar Pradesh (UP Weather), Bihar, Jharkhand between 6-9 May. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued for thunderstorms and lightning.

Temperature is going to increase in Delhi-

The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 18.3 degrees Celsius, six degrees below normal. The relative humidity in the national capital was recorded at 34 percent at 8.30 am.
