Wheat price 13 October 2024: Wheat prices broke the record, rates reached high level

New Delhi Media: (Wheat price update) In this festive season, along with mustard, the wheat rates (Wheat latest price) have also crossed the support price in many mandis of the country. Wheat prices have been increasing continuously for the last one and a half months. 

This will also continue for many days, because there is still a long time for the arrival of the new wheat crop. Farmers are getting a chance to sell their wheat at a rate higher than the support price. 

In many mandis, farmers are getting more than double the price of wheat MSP. This time the central government has declared the minimum support price (MSP) of wheat as Rs 2275 and in many mandis the prices have reached close to Rs 5000 per quintal.

Wheat prices in big markets across the country

Talking about the big and major mandis across the country, the price of wheat (Wheat Price update) is different in different mandis. Basava Kalyan Mandi of Bidar district of Karnataka is one of the major mandis. 

Here the price of wheat has reached Rs 4810 per quintal. The price of wheat in Laxmeshwar Mandi is Rs 4180 per quintal. Apart from this, the rate of wheat in Chhidwara Mandi of Madhya Pradesh is trading at Rs 3080 per quintal. Wheat is being sold at Rs 3220 per quintal in Dewas Mandi. 

On the other hand, if we look at the price (gehun ka taja bhav) in the major mandis of Rajasthan, the price of wheat in Beawar Mandi is Rs 3220 per quintal. 

Overall, an increase in the price of wheat has been observed in other mandis across the country. In most of the mandis, the price of wheat is trading above the minimum support price. Farmers who stock wheat can take advantage of this.
