Farmers will get subsidy on moong and dhencha seeds, follow these tips

Mr Journalist News (Haryana News): Haryana Government works every year to help the farmers. For this, the department does many hit works, in which the government every year gives discount to the farmers on the seeds of moong and dhaincha. Subsidy is available for farmers this year also. 

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department said that the state government has tried to purchase summer moong seeds and give them to the farmers. The department has decided to provide free structures and moong seeds to all the farmers of Jind.

The Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department will provide dhaincha and moong seeds to the farmers on subsidy, said Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Imran Raza while giving the information. 

You will have to register the farmer on the website of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, agriharyana.gov.in/ or from CHC.

Know how much subsidy you will get

The Deputy Commissioner said that only registered farmers will get seeds on subsidy. The department will provide 700 quintals of moong seeds and 5400 quintals of Dhaincha seeds to the farmers of the district at 75 percent subsidy. 

Farmers can be registered to take advantage of this program till April 15. Yellow mosaic disease is more prevalent in mung bean during Kharif season, hence the average yield is very low. This is the reason why there is emphasis on moong cultivation in Zaid.
