The company launched Thomson Alphabet25 about a month ago. Its price is Rs 1699. It was sent to TV9 for review. I used the soundbar for about 20-25 days, after that I am sharing my experience here.

Thomson Alphabet25 is a budget-friendly soundbar that comes with good sound quality and attractive design. It can be a great option for users who want an affordable and stylish soundbar for their TV or music system. Let's take a look at its features, advantages and disadvantages…

Design of Thomson Alphabet25

This soundbar is small in size and quite lightweight. You can easily carry it from one place to another. This soundbar has the facility of manual adjustment, so that you can customize the sound, volume up-down as per your choice. Apart from this, red and blue LED lights are also installed in the soundbar, which you can adjust according to your needs.

Special features of Thomson Alphabet25

  • Design: The Thomson Alphabet25 soundbar has a sleek and compact design, allowing it to easily fit into any modern home theatre setup.
  • Audio output: This soundbar gives an output of 25 watts, which is sufficient for a small or mid-sized room. It works well to improve the basic sound quality of your TV.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: It has a 3.5 stereo headphone jack and 5.3 Bluetooth support, so you can easily connect it to your smartphone, tablet or other device and enjoy wireless music streaming.
  • Wired Connectivity: Apart from Bluetooth, this soundbar can also be connected via aux-in and USB port, so you can easily connect other devices as well.

Thomson Alphabet25 performance

In this price range, the Thomson Alphabet25 soundbar gives good audio quality, especially when you use it with a TV. The sound is clear and balanced. This soundbar is budget-friendly and is a great option for those who want to set up their cheap home theater.

It has 25 watt power support and 2000mAh battery. The company claims that its battery lasts for 16 hours continuously, while it takes about 5 hours to fully charge. I also had a similar experience.

With Bluetooth support, you can easily connect it to your device and enjoy music or movies. I did not face any connectivity issues. Its installation process is quite easy and it can be set up by table-mounting.

Although the 25W output is fine for small and mid-size rooms, it is not that good for large rooms or users who need more bass. Its sound is clear, but this soundbar is weak in terms of bass.

If you like bass, then this soundbar may not live up to your expectations. Apart from this, the soundbar does not have advanced features like Dolby Atmos or DTS support, which you can get in premium soundbars. This is a basic soundbar, which is designed only to make the TV audio a little better.

Buy Thomson Alphabet25 or not?

This is a sleek, affordable and basic soundbar that performs well in small to mid-sized rooms. If you want a budget-friendly soundbar with features like Bluetooth connectivity and wireless music streaming, this could be a good option for you.

However, if you need more powerful bass or advanced features, you should look for other options with a slightly higher budget. I am giving it a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.
